April (and early May) recap

It's baseball season, I'm in the space between two major pro sports drafts that are in DFW, and the National is also inching ever closer.

So, I've gotten a little behind.

On the positive side, I got to do some mailing recently since I'm close to having the National trip paid for. So hopefully some more successes will come rolling in.

Had a few names added to the National since my last post on it-- Rico Petrocelli, Mike Hargrove, Luis Tiant, Calvin Murphy, Eric Metcalf, and Ross Browner will all be there. Should be about six more yet to be named.  I have most of my intel assembled on the ballparks we'll be seeing

Getting stuff ready for the NHL Draft as well-- a giant binder of cards, custom index cards, some pucks I have on hand, maybe some photos.  Looks like I'll get to meet up with part of my former Boston 'graphing crew as Russ and Larry will both be there.

I also mailed out to some NFL Draft Picks and UDFAs to their camps. The draft itself went badly on both the 'graphing front and the Browns front (seriously contemplating becoming a Packers fan) so hopefully this nets me a few.  I need to mail off a few others soon-- Buddy Bell has been signing, which is a nice surprise.
