I sent Juan two cards and two copies of an 8x10 photo-- one to sign for me and one for him to keep since it's one I know he's never seen: my dad took at at a game in 1993. He actually hit a homer off Jose Mesa on the pitch. Instead of keeping one, he signed both, plus the two cards I put in. Unfortunately the USPS mangled them a bit.

Also had a few nice pack pulls (Emmitt Smith and Tim Tebow with a stated print run of 5, anyone?) and a gift from a co-worker (Tyler Naquin National Treasures RPA 6/10).  I sent a ton of requests recently and am planning on writing about 40 more soon-- mostly soccer.

I also will have a pair of baseball outings next week. All this plus my band playing is three shows this weekend. Whew! Glad I spent April and most of May doing very little because it's about to get crazy.
